Do Any One Send Easter Cards

Ask a Question

I send easter cards to family and friends. I love doing it. And i get a lot of easter cards back.. I think it's nice to send a Easter card to your family and friends. It makes them happy and you are thinking about them. And it's nice to send Easter cards to people who are own there own. You send cards at Christmas time so why not Easter time. Do you send easter cards and do you get any. 🥀🥀🥀

No I don't send Easter cards. With Christmas, birthdays and ever increasing stamp prices I don't want to start buying cards for another holiday. Yesterday, I bought 2 birthday cards from Paperchase and together they cost over £5. When you include stamps I'll be paying close to £7 to send 2 cards. Given they will most likely end up in the recycling bin after a couple of days it just seems like a waste of money.

Sounds really nice nicolajaynehend 😊 I don’t send any myself, and I don’t receive them either. I do remember making them as a kid, or painting eggs, but I don’t celebrate Easter so it’s not a tradition I’ve kept up with x

No I don't send Easter cards, only birthday cards for close family members and a few Christmas cards. We don't really do anything for Easter, just enjoy the long weekend!

Hi gaelle0501 I think Easter is slowly dieing out. Which is a shame. When I was little shops were closed over Easter. Now they stay open. How time has change. 🥀

Sometimes it's less expensive to buy people an Easter egg than a high street Easter card. Go for the egg, I think I would appreciate it more.

Hi auntielettie yes it's nice to give a Easter egg. But you can't send it throw the post like a Easter card. The egg would break. 🥀

No I don’t send Easter cards but used to give the kids homemade ones to grandparents. None of my family bother with Easter cards so I’ve not got into the habit of sending them.

I stopped sending them a few years ago which is rather sad. I honestly think that schools have influenced our habits - Easter cards are rarely made within the classroom as they used to be and even the Christmas cards are adjusted to Winter Greetings. Times change I suppose.

Hi angemski yes it's sad now school don't make Easter cards. I use to when I was at school make Easter and Christmas cards. Some where I've still got them. It's be coming a thing of the past which is a shame. Soon Easter and Christmas will be just a normal day. Oh how times have change. 🥀

I don't see the point of sending them at all. Pretty sure chocolate is the preferred.
