Online Shopping So Difficult!

I have found that when shopping online the things that you put in the trolley can be taken from you. The things that were available at the time of paying are now unavailable! Also I put a one pound washing up liquid in trolley a couple of days later it was one pound sixty. My shopping won't get here until the 5th April by that time there won't be anything in the trolley! This is asda
Sometimes when I shopping online, you see something cheap, but when you go to the basket, you realise that you need to pay more for the delivery instead of the product.
Same at tesco. We bought some food on Sunday for my mother in law who's over 70 so can't go out. It'll be delivered on Saturday. I checked the basket today and 3/4 of it is now unavailable. I don't really know what to do...
That's first come first served. It's a bit like filling a trolley in a real life Tesco and expecting it to be there tomorrow.
OK, not quite like that but the trouble is unlike websites that deliver from warehouses, with supermarkets your order is picked on the day of delivery from the shop floor. It's therefore impossible to guarantee items will be there.
If they reserved everybody's orders as they came through, they'd need the same space as the shop floor just for pending orders. You're better off just writing a list and asking someone to go there for you.
I always check so many things online. Also buy everything on offer and it takes me so long....I think about it 6-7 times and sometimes leave the whole thing in the end, because the delivery cost puts me off from buying.
Totally agree when you go to online sites items may be cheaper but you will need to pay for delivery
