It's the best thing I ever did for her.
Yet my 10 year old will be staying in school x
I did my GCSE from home and it was fun. Now my cousin is homeschooled and another cousin is going to be next yers.
Just warn you its expensive you would need to pay for tuition, books and exam fees.
I have a friend that home educates and has said she will only be paying for GCSE exams if it is something her children want to sit in the future. But has said if they chose not to sit them she's happy either way. She home educates all 5 of her kids and does it from her own home without help from tutors. She buys most of her school supplies e.g pen and note pads from local poundshop.
chelseaturpin yes exam fee for GCSE only. Well if people want to teach themselves it's good and free but my mum followed oxford university's books they were pretty expensive.
I home educate my children due to many reasons. They really enjoy it and thrive, not many kids are the same and some prefer school.
Following because my 10 year old autistic daughter isnt doing well in mainstream school and there just isnt funding for her atm for a more suitable school
