Yes, and all of the family are as well. Hope my organs can give others a chance when I no longer need them. ❤️

I am on it about 30+ times ;) every time I have to change driving licence (renewals, address etc) I get asked, every doctors or hospital appointment I get asked to register, every insurance renewal etc etc. I personally would prefer to see an opt out rather than an opt in register and I also don't think relatives should be allowed to go against the deceased persons wishes by saying no to donation after they have passed.

The organs aren't any use to the person when they pass and if you are buried or cremated they aren't going to survive long so why not give someone a chance of a life

Totally agree . If it on the register ur wishes should be adhered to and the family should have no say in the matter x .. and yes opt out would be better as lots of people just can't be bothered with things like filling forms in .. sounds silly but it's true . If it was made into opt out then im sure lots more organs would be available n lots of people. Waitingg. Will get their newww organnn x

RegularComper90 too much selfishness in the world already I think .If we can help another human being just by giving them something that is no longer needed by us why would people lo do it ?

I carry a donor card - I'd like to see an opt out system. And also that those who opt out be told that if they should ever need to receive an organ that they were considered to be opting out of the right to be considered for one. That would respect both sides for those who object as part of their religion.

I agree David everyone's choice even though I can't understand a religion that would take away the chance to carry on living x n

jojowane67 There are a few religions who do - Jehova's Wittlesses are one - I kept them away with blood donor stickers on my porch window.

davidstockport yea I know I had a friend who converted and we don't talk anymore due to the fact I asked why would they risk their child's life for the sake of religion ... I just don't get it . A Parent would do anything to save a poorly child surely ? It's absolutely crazy in my opinion x

I'm on it, although possibly might switch to whole body donation to science if they ever have a body farm in the UK ( at the moment in the UK we use pigs!) as like the idea of my body doing something useful for science.

No. You might consider it selfish but I'll take my chances at keeping what I was born with.

Maybe, after I pass on to the 'other world,' then maybe.
