just a heads up if you’re planning to buy from them, or have items you wish to exchange or return
unfortunately, it’s another chain I believe will still struggle even if saved, as competition of cheaper alternatives is high
Sad, but not unexpected. I buy most of my Christmas and birthday cards from Paperchase. Their flagship store on Tottenham Court Road took a long time to reopen after the end of the first lockdown. When it finally did only the ground floor was open to customers.
I guess it’s hard to attract business online. I know they used to strategically place themselves by stations and around offices, but now that people are working from home, they’re just not going to get the footfall
I do like paperchase but their prices are a bit high for what they are. Unfortunately they are just going to be one of many stores going into administration in the coming months.
I'm not surprised really. I've always loved browsing in their shops but they've been out of touch with their pricing for a long time. I don't think there will be many similar outlets that will survive this year.
We don't have a local one. So never use but so many shops shutting isn't good for any of us
Thank you I wasn't aware of this and I was planning to buy in their SALE as although I like their stuff they are a bit on the pricey side.
