Pasta and Toddlers
Ask a Question
I am not sure if this is going to sound silly but my 13 month old doesn't eat pures anymore he is interested in finger food and chewing. My question is how I give pasta to him if he doesn't use fork? Just with the hands? Want to give him the same food we eat, not blending anymore
Let him or her use fingers for pasta some sliced ham and cheese. If I remember your child is about 14 months now you could always give your child a plastic fork to try but I have always found they like and learn though texture
My son just ate the pasta with his hands. He loved that he had control and that it was a new texture, also helped with fine motor skills. He was able to use a spoon at 13 months so I gave him a plastic fork to use too but he is only just getting the hang of it, but no harm trying him with one.
Let him get messy and eat with his hands I did with my little one and before I knew it she wanted a fork
