People Panic Buying and Stores Closed Are Affecting Lives

Folks now make queues to enter a supermarket, then to see it's nearly all empty and stores (cafe shops, fast food chains, etc) are closed.
Might as well order online and have it delivered 'cause this situation is just awful. The media has a lot to be blamed for as they created the scaremongering. Plus, using only a mask without covering your eyes and ears won't fully protect you.
People won't listen to what a doctor tells them to do, but if the media says.. it goes.

I suppose it's not that simple now days with that panic around. I made my online shopping and was struggling to find any store that will deliver within a week or even two. On top of that I have ordered about 50 items but barely half of that was delivered leaving me without milk, eggs and many essentials :/
I couldn't get delivery till April 5th and sold out items its madness and one big panic my mum and dad over 70 and she's now worrying i have anexety but im going help her by getting shopping if anything left x

People are panicking as if England goes into lockdown then they may only allow some people to visit the supermarkets and there may be no stock.
It's more to blame than news media for a lot of the absolute stupidity this country has exhibited in the past few years.
I haven't see longer queues at my local supermarket, but every time I go in the panic buyers appear to have targeted a different product - it was tea and porridge yesterday. I haven't really changed my habits as a result of the virus. I've still been going to cafes, the cinema, etc. Hopefully, they won't close everything
