Ask a Question
Hello all- Are there any good quality dupes for Jo Malone fragrances? Really want some as like the scent profiles but think theyre really overpriced.....or are they worth the splurge?
OneeyedRaven Not for jo malone there arent as its a very individual scent.
You only need a couple of sprays of it to last all day and you can buy 10ml samples which will give you 80 sprays for around 9.00.
My advice is to buy the real deal but maybe try a smaller sample before splurging out on a full bottle.
My husband wears my jo malone its definatley more for men than women even though its meant to be unisex. Its a very masculine musky smell.
thank you for this which is what I was thinking but seen lots of reviews saying scent doesnt last so I was put off at price. Thats interesting may I ask which you and hubby ;) wear as I like quite woody/musk fragrance as a rule
OneeyedRaven yes of course its pomegranate noir.
I like you had a tester smell and thought it was lovely then saw how expensive it was and didnt want to dive in head first. So i bought a 10ml for 8.99 which gives you 80 sprays. Its not too much of a risk then.
When i got it it was a more rounded/complex smell and definatley more suited for a man. Its got similar notes to sauvage.
So now i spray my husband with it Lol. Id say you can smell it properly for a few hours then just on your wrist after that. But in my humble opinion its not bad for 2 sprays and you cant beat the real macoy. I just think cheap copies cant compare with quality. I will be buying a large bottle and thats when ill stink the house out Lol x
(If you like strong woody scents try armani code profumo, i bought my hubby one and its sooooo strong and lasts all day. The whole house smells of it, Its totally gorgeous. I confess to pinching it and using myself.)
