Just saw this and never realised how shocking it was. Back then, as a child I just enjoyed Pinocchio as the film where a wooden boy becomes human and goes through obstacles.

I can't deny it's traumatising but pales in comparison to the Wheelers in Return to Oz:

I think that's the video... I couldn't even bring myself to watch it 😄

This is a sequel to The Wizard of Oz? I never heard or knew about this until today. But I agree, that's even more traumatising.

What the hell :0 I thought Corraline was horrible. I wouldn't watch it again but kids don't seem fazed by it :/
