Playpen Floor
Ask a Question
I wonder if some of you have some ideas of where to put in a playpen floor for my toddler. Atm I have a duvet but I want to put something different like a mat. The issue is the shape as it is quite difficult to find a pentagonal one or one which adjust to the size
I also have a pentagonal shaped playpen, I just have a blanket in the bottom of mine, but you can get specially made mats on etsy.
Have you read the savvy mum article in the recent news feed to the right of this chat. She bought the interlocking play tiles from b and q for less than £3 a pack and did the whole bedroom floor for £28. So wouldn’t cost that much to do a playpen and they would be easy cut to fit whatever shape you need. Just a suggestion
You can get those foam floor mats that slot together like a jigsaw, make a square so that it fits the footprint of the playpen and put the playpen on top if it. They are wipe clean too as playpen floors tend to get quite messy. I have the Summer hexagonal one that folded down but that has a base / floor sheet built in. Or, you could use an aqua doodle mat which doubles as a drawing surface?
