Popadoms or Naan Bread
Ask a Question
When you have a curry do you have naan bread or popadoms?
We tend to have popadoms but been told we should be having naan bread
Popadoms with pickle as a starter and then naan with the main course is our usual route, but if you enjoy it do it your way. There is no curry police to say what's correct
LOL is this a serious question? You have what you want to have, or do you normally take orders about what yo eat from someone else? Popadoms are a start generally, Naan's are mains but if you have to ask... come on.
I have both and if having a curry at home it's with the main, if out it's poppadoms to start and naan to go with the main
Both plain poppadoms & keema nan with keema rice, onion bhajis, chips, salad, mint sauce and chicken korma.
I serve both and have mango chutney available as well. People have choice and it all goes.
It has to be poppadoms all day, every day. I’ve never liked naan bread, even though some varieties smell gorgeous. I just like the crispiness of poppadoms
Popadoms. Can’t beat them. With or without curry you can sit and nibble on popadoms. Better with mango though than curry I must say
I can make home made naan bread...and popadoms are appetizers any way u eat them with chutney, so with main meal always naan
What is this or? Have both, and rice, and sides. Have all the Indian foods! Eat everything!
Poppadoms are a starter usually, with mango chutney etc,and nan breads with curry,if you prefer them to chappati.
I didn't realise there were rules lol. I don't actually like popadoms so I do always have bread but the others who eat with us will have them as starters. I think if you like it that way, don't worry
We order naan bread and get complimentary poppadoms! I’m greedy lol love them both with mint sauce
Just found a pack of peshwari nans in back of cupboard! Still in date too, bonus of the week!
We have both, I like the crunchy with soft rice and sauce but I like the nan to dip in the curry sauce
I like having both. Would usually have poppadoms as a starter with various dips. Then have naan with my curry
