Post Office Online Shop Delivery Fee
Ask a Question
I needed stamps and as I'm staying at home I looked at the post office website to get some. £2.99 delivery fee for a book of stamps! Isn't that crazy? ( or £3.98 for fast delivery!) Why can't they stick it in a cheap envelope on 2nd class postage instead? I didn't buy any lol.
Anyone knows where to get stamps online without ridiculous fees?
As I started your comment I immediately thought the same as you, why can't they post them. I then thought it is a letter which would take time to address and deliver so a good idea would be to use one of your stamps to send to you. Win win. Cheaper for you but they are getting a payment of a kind.
I always order my stamps with my online shopping, can you do that?
PhilipMarc Royal Mail is still cheapest up to a certain size and obviously for normal mail and letterbox sized parcels.
If you've got a printer you can print your own label and pay the postage cost (from 65p) by card or PayPal - no sign-up is required.https://send.royalmail.com/
G0501 I suppose you could print "the label" on an A4 sheet then fold it in such a way that it could, with a bit of glue or sellotape, become an envelope, probably easier than printing small labels - and an A4 sheet of paper is cheaper than an envelope.
Yes, I added them onto my last Tesco order, very successfully - they were in an envelope attached to the paper bill.
