I'm all for Dads being involved in their children's lives and providing financial support, but at the end of the day the woman is carrying them and will be responsible for the majority of child care.

They have no right to dictate, I think she has been more than understanding even talking to them.

I do know of one couple who did split their children, but only because their 11 year old wanted to stay with her Dad and the younger child went to live with her Mum & new partner

I don't think that they think that she has been understanding I think they see her as a naive and gullible pushover who they can target and use to get what they want.

Her ex boyfriend sounds like a right psycho but not as much as the new girlfriend. She needs to put down that she doesn't know who the father is on the birth certificate. Sounds like this whole thing was planned well in advance by both of them. Poor woman. Vile people. 😥

RichardDoolin I agree. When I read the article I had the same thoughts as you - that it was pre-planned. I'd be very concerned about the bunny boiler girlfriend.

sunny101 I would be thinking about doing a moonlight flit to the other end of the country for starters. Then I would consider name changes and possibly getting them adopted. 😭

It reminds me of the film The Parent Trap where they have twins and when they split they get one each.
