Primark Has Changed Their Returns Policy

My daughter got a top that didn't fit her for Christmas from Primark. Took it back to the store to swap for a bigger size and was told Primark no longer return items without a receipt, not even to exchange 
so we're now stuck with a top that's too small and my daughter was so disappointed. Really bad policy especially around Christmas time.
I didn't know that they had done this! That is awful, they should atleast exchange it. Only thing I can suggest is to sell the top and use the money towards a new one. Can't believe that they have done that.
I know, I exchanged one last year without a receipt. My daughter was so disappointed I took her into next to buy her some leggings instead. I didn't want to waste anymore time in there, we had to queue for nearly half an hour in Primark! I probably will try to sell it. They should tell people this policy so they get gift receipts. A lot of people will have the same thing happen 
Tasha042 what a shame for your daughter, not fair for her. I would be so annoyed if I had queued for that long. I will definitely be getting gift receipts if I buy anyone anything from primark
No I didn't, I asked if they made any exceptions to this new policy and they said only if it's faulty 
Happened to me. My leggings were too big and I tried to swap for a smaller size. They said no receipt no swap. I was tempted to just go in the changing room and swap them but for £3 I thought it's not worth it.
It is rediculous you can't swap for the same thing! My daughter liked the top so she would have been happy to swap for the size up. Very disappointing.
That's terrible news although I've never purchased from Primark since I find their clothes absolutely low quality!
Yes I agree, I don't shop there myself as their clothes are badly made. Plus it's always so busy, I like quiet shops where everythings tidy and the staff are happy
