Primark is planning to reopen all of its 153 stores in England on 15 June when lockdown restrictions are lifted, its owner AB Foods has said. However, they’ve reported to have said there would be no "special discounting" to shift almost £2bn-worth of stock to sell, double its normal stockholding.
Really? Primark, the king of the high street for its cheap fashion, won’t be doing ‘special discounts’? I suppose they do discounts all-year round, so it’s indeed not going to be ‘special’
Are you looking forward to shopping in Primark?
no thanks. It will definitely be a busy store, with queues for everything - going in, paying for things, trying to get out. I can't imagine it being orderly in any of the stores
Lol no it’s never orderly. Actually just before lockdown the store near me was practically empty. It was one of the nicest shopping experiences in Primark I’d ever had
Will be avoiding it for a very long time. No-one will social distance, hygiene will be questionable especially in the toilets/ fitting rooms, cramped, no ventilation (they apparently have AC which never seems to work). With that said I did shop there a lot as the prices were to some extent cheaper but its really not worth the risk for me. I will watch the videos online and think how great of a decision i made not to go
You’re right, the air con never works, so one would then have to question how well they will maintain their stores. Videos it is then
MsLamboLova12 you're one has a toilet?? My local one has a wonky step that I fell down and then had the manager tell me it was my fault because I should know the step is wonky because the non existent signs say so
rls why does that sound just like Primark! They have toilets for emergency use for customers (i use to work there)
Primark is a nightmare at the best of times so I will not be going in anytime soon! I do like Primark for clothes for my son but I would rather stay safe than go in to get a bargain and risk my health and the health of my family!
Got to love primark they are cheap anyway plus lost loads of money with stores being closed so will have to make their money back. Wont be going straight in when they reopen as they be jam packed no social distancing. Ill wait a while first. Wish they would sell their stuff online though.
Same here. They have had a lot of interest so I’m not sure why they don’t start selling online
Can’t beat a bit of primani really their stuff is reasonably priced. I won’t be rushing back as soon as they open I’m in no hurry to go clothes shopping and can always buy stuff online.
I couldn’t imagine anything worse than more queuing probably will be 100 times worse than toilet roll gate at the start of lockdown. Think I will be avoiding for a long time
They have cheap items. I do not think they need to discount it any more.
I personally hate the place. I can not stand it. Always so busy and I have never find a thing which properly fit on me.
I don't mind Primark but hate shopping there. Pre-lockdown I used to try and time it to go when it was quiet. No way am I going again for a good few months after opening even if they did have a sale. It makes me anxious just thinking about it.
