Private Clinics for Medical Cannabis

In the News

So hundreds of people are forking out up to £800 per month for this

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-49333826

It’s certainly not the cheapest way - a trip to Amsterdam would only be a fraction of the price

The uk is the biggest exporter of Medical cannabis the company is owned my Theresa mays husband the problem with the government its all about money they know that cannabis can help many sufferers of ms, epilepsy and so on but it's the uk government and they don't care about us all they care about is the money if it wasn't about the money medical cannabis would be available to anyone who would benefit from it.... I think the government should allow people to grow there own supply of cannabis up to 9 plants as long as they have obtained a licence to grow for personal use.

KazLou Theresa may says it has no medical benefits but if that was the case her husband wouldn't be supplying it to all the countries that have already took the step in the right direction, hopefully Boris will change this and make medical cannabis more available on the nhs as some family can't afford to pay private clinics and some of these families really need the medicine to get through the day.

It's a very, very profitable business for the higher ups so drugs and cures deemed incurable are left unsolved.

Who's to say a cure for cancer doesn't already exist somewhere? But it's not available for purchase.

FAKE NEWS ALERT - Philip May is an employee of Capital Group, which has a minority shareholding (about 22%) in the medicinal cannabis business (GW Pharmaceuticals). That is the connection, blown out of all proportion and spun like mad in the press. Philip May does not own either company.

In Portugal they sell a legal liquid type of cannabis and iirc, it's around €20 to €50. I guess that's something for junkies but it's primarily for medical reasons.

I thought the nhs now provided medical cannabis for certain illnesses like cancer, ms, motor neurone etc.

Yes but it’s impossible to get. They won’t prescribe it. It’s a joke.

Yes they do, but it’s not something the doctors are actually willing to prescribe, so very few have been able to get it. The waiting list is long

I personally think that cannabis should be made available on the NHS to everyone who needs it can have access but not everyone has the money to afford it through private clinics. Having cannabis available through private clinics is a joke and very few people get it through the NHS. I suffer myself from mental health problems and epilepsy and have suffered in silence for the the last 10 years i wish they would make the drug completely legal.

I’m sorry to hear that. It is very dependent on the area you live in, as I know someone who has managed to get it with no issues...but then again my area has a lot of dealers around too, so I know our MPs have been campaign hard for its legalisation

I'd be against making it legal. They should only give medical cannabis to those who would be certain to need it (make sure the patient passes the tests to be eligible, etc) and not for drug addicts.

Oh yeah, I took this photo a few months ago. Not mine, but it looks lovely.
