I started my trees on window ledge now putting outside in day time bringing in at night to get them used to outside how long till I leave them outside permanently
over a year ago

I'd give it another couple of weeks personally.
With clear skies you can still get a frost at night, even in May.
I read recently that there was frost every night of April somewhere in the UK.
