It’s most probably your hormones plus with all this virus stuff your brain is working over time. It should pass if not speck with midwife.

Yes, I have been pregnant six times and each time worried through every stage. I did lose two babies. The worry for me has never ended, my eldest is 29 and everyday one of children does something to raise my blood pressure, that’s parenthood.

Congratulations if you’re still feeling low in a couple of days ring your local doctors and ask for a phone consultation to discuss your worries. Hopefully you’ll be referred to your midwife who will support you throughout your pregnancy.

It’s a difficult time to be pregnant Leeann, I’m sure many expectant Mums are in the same boat. As Ann1984 said, hormones can do terrible things to your system. Have you had your scan yet? I hope your midwife can offer some reassurance.

Leeann Wow, three months pregnant. That's so exciting! Congratulations! Sorry to hear that you're having bad anxiety. Some of the best advice I ever received was to deal with my anxiety by picking a goal - any goal - and giving the goal 100% of my focus. What's the most beautiful story of motherhood that you can imagine?

I spent most of my pregnancy being anxious! I think it is fairly normal, you are having a baby, plus with the virus, it is understandable that you are anxious. Talk to someone about how you feel and hopefully it will help, it's what the midwives are there for! The midwives at the hospital knew me by my first name! Hope your anxiety gets better. Pregnancy is tough enough.

Are you feeling better today, Leeann? I agree with everything that's been said - all very normal. I was a nervous wreck with mine! Wishing you the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I had to start an anti anxiety medication at 23 weeks into my pregnancy and I’m still taking them now and my baby is 2. If you feel like it’s affecting you please speak to your midwife or gp. Plus taking some time out just for you and relaxation is really helpful. Pregnancy is such a stressful and worrying time without the stress of Covid too. Take care lovely

My sister was scared during her whole pregnancy. She couldn't watch any pregnancy movies or shows. And she couldn't read any pregnancy books because she was so worried about everything. It is normal to feel this way. For my sister she started to feel better when her baby was born and in a couple of weeks got the hang of things

Every pregnancy is different. It's good your getting the help. As everyone has said the current situation we are in won't be helping. I felt more anxious with my fourth pregnancy. I put I down to being more exhausted with three other kids, i ignored it, I ended with post natal depression, I still suffer from anxiety. Take all the help you can get. I wish I did, but I didn't want to be a burden on people. Good luck in your pregnancy.🎉
