Reporting a Deal, I Don't Quite Understand It and Always Get It Right!

Ask a Question

Sometimes I report a deal if I see it has expired, that's fine, no problem, other times I may report a deal when it says one price on the listing but when I click to the item it says another price, with no Voucher involved, but if I report that then often it's rejected as being wrong, this is what I don't understand, I often use the heading 'Other' as if I click onto wrong price or whatever the heading is then that seems to want me to re-write the whole listing, so could my report be wrong for using the wrong heading otherwise what is it? I've only been doing this for a short while but if I don't get it right then I'm wasting people's time, could anybody help please? Thanks x

If its the wrong price i usually just report as expired because its no longer available at the advertised price 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't think it is fair to report something as expired if it isn't! People are often on here wondering why their deal has been reported as expired when it hasn't. They are probably really confused if they don't realise the price has changed.

I didn't say anything like that Lynibis and I know exactly what you mean as it's happening to me all the time when no price is involved and it's 10 minutes after I posted!!

Lynibis if its not the price advertised then the deal is expired - unless its cheaper of course then the deal is better.

If its only changed by a little amount like amazon like to change by up to £1 either way then i will comment on the post and say its changed.

If however somethings rrp is £20 and has been listed for £10 and then when i look its now £15 then that to me is expired. Half price compared to 25% off isnt the same deal - to me anyway. I dont have my reports rejected so i guess im doing something right 🤷🏽‍♀️

Maybe some people report deals for points but are they really going to that much trouble for 15 points a day.

If the price you see is:

A) Cheaper than originally posted

B) Only a little more than originally posted

it can be helpful to notify the OP via the comments to give them an opportunity to update their post

JoTarpley Agree with Johnny and this is what I usually do, better to add to the comments and inform the OP than report as expired unless the price has increased a great deal

Sanitation1234 you are still upset from yesterday but nobody on here 'Owns' the deals posted, we don't deliberately take each others deals it's just sometimes we come across the same deal and 2 will get posted but we don't do it on purpose and a lot of the time we are told, when we type in the link, that someone has already posted it and we can't go any further but that doesn't always happen but as I explained to you yesterday, you don't have to panic and get upset, it will get sorted, either someone will report the deal as a duplicate or the LDs Team will spot it and take it off, sometimes it takes time, specially at weekends, you haven't been a member long, you just have to get used to things here! x
