Rip Dustin Diamond

I used to love saved by the bell. Screech was definitely my favourite. Can't believe he is gone. This is the first I've heard about it. I might need to see if it's on prime or Netflix and rewatch it.

I've never seen Saved by the Bell and don't know much about this guy, but I've just been reading the story and it's so sad, he was only diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago.

I vaguely remember the series but I'm perhaps a little older than its typical viewer. On that same link page there is a news article where he stabbed someone in a bar and served a prison sentence a few years ago which seems so different to his onscreen persona in that series.

He didn't smoke either although did a lot of comedy routines at clubs so perhaps second-hand smoke is to blame for his lung cancer.

Loved him as Screech on Saved By the Bell

I was so shocked to hear the news I only read last week he was ill. Has happened so fast
