"In response to the current coronavirus outbreak, Royal Mail have announced some temporary changes to how their staff will hand over parcels and ‘signed for’ items to customers at the doorstep."

its parcels too be left on doorstep and postman has to sign for it

The problem with the postman leaving at the door is how would the customer know it is at the door .

Royal Mail's postmen/women are already lazy enough, most of the time they leave parcels on door without knocking. Now, they have legal rights to be easygoing 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
