Ryanair are a budget airline and everything you want or need will tend to cost you more. But the landing I can't see why it would be much different to any other airline and there are loads of things that can change how that happens

Ryanair do seem to have a reputation for hard landings, but if you try to relax and ignore other passenger's screams, you should have no problem.

Always remember that every Ryanair plane that has ever taken off - has landed somewhere, probably more than 99% of them where the pilot intended.

umeedkiroshni I've been on loads of Ryanair flights, never had any screamers or hard landings and staff are friendly. Top tips - take your sandwiches/water in your bag, make sure your one piece of hand luggage fits the dimensions and if you have priority you're not over 10kg.

lilyflower Hard landings can in many circumstances be safer than soft landings, especially if the runway is wet or slippery (I was told that by an airline pilot) Ryanair have actually acquired a reputation for them "The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has acquired a reputation for hard landings". From Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_landing

My top tip is; avoid drinking anything too hot when landing 😀

umeedkiroshni I was almost terrified before my first flight, which had to be made at very short notice, but after that I looked forward to future flights. It's worth remembering that flying is the safest form of transport.

No problems with the landings . The problems come with all the add-ons you really need to buy . I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole but nothing to do with "hard landings " . For your future reference ,book Jet2 ,maybe a bit dearer but at least you know what you are getting.

I've used them perhaps 10 to 12 times over the last half a dozen years.

Never had any issues - landings have been ok apart from a little wobble coming into Krakow.

I just pop my Airpods in, turn the noise cancelling on and close my eyes, that seems to drown out most of the big mouths and assorted noises.

It's a budget airline, but the pilots are obviously qualified for the role otherwise they'd be putting people's lives at risk.

Having two pilots makes it safer for us [passengers] and employees rather than just one, and the airplanes used aren't deciding to take action by themselves anymore (thank God) so it's a mostly safe method of transportation.

The issue I've had flying with airlines weren't even due to the airplane, pilots, or other employees... It was passengers having no respect for others.
