I saw this on the news last night. Very surprised. I wonder if they will merge the two supermarkets. They are completely different. I hope I don't lose my nectar card, I have a lot of points on it!
I've got £7 which is a personal record! I meant to spent them as I don't trust nectar now after reading about the lack of security here. Also I don't like ASDA, but I like Sainsburys, so I don't want my local sainsburys, which hasn't changed in about the last 40 years to do anything different. I know exactly where they stock everything.
Be interesting to see if they get it through the competition authorities although they do seem to allow companies to get pretty big nowadays.
