Why is Saturday morning TV so poor these days gone are SMTV and all the other morning fun programmes.
Cookery and Travel now, no good for kids or adults who think they are kids.
It's all on Disney or Nickelodeon now. SMTV followed by CD UK was amazing. Live and Kicking was ok but SMTV was the best. Remember the days you used to get excited to see who was at number 1 in the music charts?
Just guessing, but would say Kids are more interested in social media, their phones & computer or video games than watching TV these days.
On a topical note, I used to watch Saturday morning superstore and the going live with these two, gordon the gopher and philip schofield! I have no idea what kids find to watch before their parents are out of bed. I used to be up watching this whilst my mum was padding around in her dressing gown and my dad was at work. If anyone here remembers that time someone called in to ask why 5 star were so bleeping crap on going live. 
Oh yes i forgot about gordon the gopher.priceless.(i wonder what gordon would make of phillips big announcement ?)
SMTV was just fab. Arent they doing a anniversary special soon? I use to love Chums & Wonkey Donkey.
