I got a letter from school on Friday off teacher not wearing a mask saying everyone including teachers have to wear masks at drop off and pick up time.
My son also brought home, homework when they not allowed bags incase of contamination. I understand the homework but surely that could be done online
Anyone else getting these mixed messages from school
I’ve not heard any schools saying you can’t have a bag... how do they take lunch / water etc? 
my 16 year old still has homework every night and is still taking a bag..
They are allowed a lunch bag if it can be easily cleaned daily mine are in primary
am not sure if the schools even know what they are doing . my son's school have to wear masks in the corridor but not in class or in the lines they are allow to take their bags in but not allowed to bring homework home or take in p.e kits
Schools are getting mixed messages from local government departments and more mixed messages from Westminster they are trying to implement rules that are changing on a hourly basis so you have to give them the right to be wrong on some things
My god daughter back at school and bloody pain getting all kids in at the same time thriugh same back gates
The kids shouldn't be back in school in my opinion. They are only going to aid the spread of Covid.
I know there's arguments that it's not good for their mental health because they miss their peers, but besides that, aren't they quite happy fannying around on the Xbox and watching TV all day with their parents?
(I am playing devil's advocate here and wouldn't know what it's like 
)
Maybe someone could explain what effect it's having on their kids and whether they think it's detrimental to them or not?
My daughter is doing 1 week in college 1 week remote learning and hates second week. As for my sons one refuses to speak in school he is shy the other wants to go back to homeschooling.
The older ones talk to friends mainly on internet anyway so only problem with no school is how much they learn I've talked to a few parents who didn't put any effort in
I tried I guess only time will tell how well I did
Our school still take bags, homework is online though. I think every school is interpreting the rules differently but whatever they’re doing, they should all follow the same rules staff and students alike!
