Are You Scaling Back Christmas Gifts This Year?
Ask a Question
I've told my grown up girls that I'm not doing gifts this year as they live in different counties from me and I'm not sure how Christmas will pan out however, I relented and shopped for them during Prime day. Anyone else done the same
I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, but I do think it will be smaller this year. I usually shop in store for Christmas gifts, but I'll probably shop online this year to avoid the crowds, and will probably buy a bit less than previous years as it will probably be a smaller event for us.
I'll shop online instead and hoping to cut back a bit this year (not that I or my family go overboard anyway)
I have only done a bit of Christmas shopping so far but won't be changing how much I spend. The only change will be we have lost 3 family members this year
About the same, I buy for sons and their wives and kids and 3 good friends. Did online shopping throughout lockdown.
I'll be scaling back on food/party food this year as it will only family (fingers still crossed on that one) but I've got the presents mostly sorted. The lockdown allowed most of us to shop without pressure so choosing the gifts became enjoyable.
Not on gifts, but expecting a more subdued time over the festive period. It's difficult to plan when more restrictions could be put in place at any time
I never go overboard anyway but definitely will be minimal this year for the nieces and nephews!
