School Teacher Murdered Boyfriend

In the News

A school teacher killed her boyfriend and the body was found in the back garden of their holiday home in Cumbria. She claims he emotionally abused her but there is clear evidence of pre meditation. Police found her diary in which she wrote 'it's was harder than I thought it would be', 'moving a body is much more difficult than it looks on tv'. The boyfriend had several affairs during their relationship, had a child with one of them and lost money by gambling. Surely it would have been easier to dump his sorry butt.

I think that's a good reason for murdering her boyfriend 😄 I've wanted to kill my partner for less lol

Leannexxx I would have named and shamed him, had a laugh at his expense and then dumped him. I had a friend whose boyfriend who messed her about and cheered her up by jokingly suggesting that we mock up some a poster of him doing unmentionable things to a horse with his phone number on it, entitled 'wey up neddy' and plaster it around town. Obviously we didn't but it cheered her up somewhat.

Why on earth would you keep a diary of what you have done, you're not likely to forget!

Sounds like he was a poor partner to her but that is definitely no excuse to kill him. She has now deprived a child of having a father in their life (he may have been a lousy father as well but that’s beside the point)

Surely you would just leave him and move on with your life. He was clearly an awful boyfriend to her but that doesn't justify killing him. There is now a child without a father and parents without a son all because he was a terrible partner.

I have been following this story, in one report they call him her husband and boyfriend, although this makes no difference. She has admitted to murder so she should get life.

It sounds very complicated. In cases like this it usually isn't black and white. Sounds very sad. Yes she would have been better dumping him but it's easier for us to say that as an outsider

Don’t think there’s any excuse for murder especially premeditated murder. I know it’s never that simple or black and white. I just can’t understand why she didn’t kick him out or walk away from him. Many people experience lives like this but they get the strength to get away eventually and I’m sure murder is last thing on their mind

Disposing of a body never an easy thing to do easier by far to change the locks I would think!
