Schools Fully Open in September
Ask a Question
Is this good idea. Kids need it we cant keep them home for ever. schools should think about taking children’s temperature on arrival to reduce risk of the spread. I will have my thermometer in my bag and checking mine every day before they leave home.
Lynibis the comp my daughter goes to were doing it on these catch up days but at only one entrance point. Am sure they can use there budget as doesn't run out until April so not spent any the last 3 months as children ain't been in schools. Plus they would have had money from parents that weren't used on school during the 6 months there. Am going to check my kids but many parents won't.
They need to go back some time September is most obvious choice
That said little ones catch something every other week which often results in higher temperatures so a lot of young children with high temperatures will not have covid 19 but I guess we'd have to keep our children off for every little sniffle
If children can go to McDonalds, Primark, the cinema and other places then I see no reason as to why they can't go back to school.
Besides, they are missing out on vital education and socialising with their friends. I feel really sorry for children at the moment.
But what you mentioned about checking their temperature is certainly a great idea.
