Anyone have any dealings with Scottish Power ? I switched to them for both gas and electric 2 weeks ago and have nothing but hassle. My electricity cost seems to have gone up for sure. When trying to deal with them through chat I get the same automated message every time ! It’s driving me mad and I have now written a letter to their complaints department and sent it. This has to be more than teething problems ! I wish I had never switched !

I usually phone the company if theres a problem and choose my rates online.
Theyve not long put their prices up so im looking to change.
i have gone through all the companies to get best deal , most are similar about 17p per KW used , found company called Octopus , 14.5 per KW , saving me about £250 per year , also they are now installing 2nd generation smart meters to keep and eye and budget and mange your useage , this is import as most still use 1st generation ones that armnt as good , mainly because they cant be changed it you switch surppilers again
They are vile quite the worst took 5 years (YES 5 YEARS!!!) to fix my faulty meter (i had electricity but the digits in the digital meter did not move!) in which time i had free electricity and saved about £15,000 - Nice one SP.
I used to work for them in the IT dept in Cathcart in Glasgow and its 10+ years on and the systems are still a mess when they migrated from Novell Netware in the Iberdrola switchover everything that could go wrong did go wrong and now they have messed up my bill yet again!
Ask anyone in the call centre how frustrating it is as they have quite the worst problems and the poor Service centre wallahs have to take the flak when its really not their problem!
