Keep in mind that what you may have, may or may not have any or real value at all. Plus, it also depends where in one country it can be valuable and in another it's valueless.

Also bear in mind more specialist products really need to be sold on ebay as it will get more views to find a buyer. Think about what you are selling and which is the best way to sell it. On ebay set it at a price you want allowing for the fees and start high and over time drop the price if you have to unless its a date sensitive product where selling sooner will merit a higher price. If its something that could be useful to someone but of very low value perhaps freecycle etc.
