What Series Would You Have Liked to Have Had More Of?

Some series are so good they deserve to go on and on, others not so much, 3 or 4 series are enough.
But often we love a series and it ends abruptly after only 2 or 3 seasons.
I would have loved a couple more seasons of The Musketeers and Designated Survivor.
How about you?
There a number of comedies I would have like to have seen more of Gavin & Stacey and Peter Kay's Car Share.
beccatavender I came very late to the party with both of those and then I sort of didn't bother, but I saw enough to know how good they were.
A series from around 7 years ago called Forever with Ioan Gruffedd. There was a lot of disappointment when it was cancelled as it was popular.

I’d of loved more of wentworth. I thoroughly enjoyed it and could of watched a lot more
Not more of but I wish the ending of Lost had been better. I loved that show but the ending was a huge let down. Iv never got over the disappointment.
Glitterandgold yes I agree, the unsatisfactory ending was talked about for some time.
Generally I get a bit bored of long running series. I wish series had more of a set lifespan with a proper beginning and end. I think 'The Strain' was designed for a set number of seasons and that was it, no more no less, it might have been 4 seasons and had a proper ending. I wish more series were like that. Sometimes they leave a series hanging hoping that it will be financed for another season and it never was so there is no proper ending and that annoys me.
When I watch the later Simpsons episodes its quite embarrassing how awful and uninspired they are. It started off as an amazing series and then became pure trash in my opinion.
I generally think its better to end a series when its still good and then put the resources into a new series with fresh ideas and stories.
BonzoBanana as I said above, I watched all three series of The Musketeers again last week and it had a lovely ending with everything tied up. It was not the same old story of the tired films of the same name, but quite a lot of same characters.
I felt Vikings was about ready to end when it did and again it massively rounded off, same with The Last Kingdom, but they then brought out Vikings Valhalla so I could get my fix of Viking warriors!
