As much as I love shopping and would love to go to one of these shops, these people are mad for cueing like that outside, they aren’t even the distance apart they should be. no one gets ill.
Tiger, one of my favourite little shops a bit like a mini IKEA has re-opened. It has 50% off almost everything in my local London store.
Robert Dyas appears to have re-opened again. There were medium queues for this one.
PhilipMarc I thought game had gone out of business, they've been struggling for a long time.
HMV, Fopp, Waterstones and I saw a long queue outside the Apple store in Covent Garden earlier today. Plus, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason also reopened for any upmarket needs. I went into a large M&S shop for food today, the ground floor clothing area only had a few customers. I saw hand sanitizer being offered at the entrance of many shops. I hope this will be provided in all stores where people browse
This would be a good time for CeX to stop being a dump. I mean, I've been to a lot of CeX stores in London and a lot were dirty in some way, as well as the accessories (controllers) and discs (DVDs/BDs), so this is a chance for them to try and clean it up for once.
Others [customers] even complain it has an 'odd' smell.
Greggs have announced they will be opening 800 shops for takeaway on Thursday (18th). Plus, Cineworld will reopen on the 10th July - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-53053685
Good luck to anyone who thinks they’re ready for the battlefield. I think I’ll wait the first few waves out. Never liked crowds previously so not likely to enjoy the crowds now
the shops near me are not too busy, thankfully. Yet still I refuse to queue. I can shop online for most things
