How Many Topics Can You Post A Day?

Other

Itโ€™s seems the 2 a day is void because am seeing more then 2.

This is only going to mess it all up again with topics getting pushed back

I thought that too but think we could be wrong, it could be that topics from previous days were on the first page because someone had commented on them, making it appear that the poster had just posted them.

davidstockport I would have agreed with you until looking and it seems more than two can be shared in a day. I'm guessing more than two can be shared - just in case one of the posts doesn't get any interaction?

sunny101 thatโ€™s exactly what I thought so if the 3 posted today get interaction that means 120 points

sunny101 Thanks - it does appear that way. It doesn't seem logical though. It might however stop some individuals, who think we can't read the papers for ourselves posting a load of dross if no one interacts and they don't get any points, then again I suspect, from what I've already seen, there could be individuals "ganging up" to boost the interaction... for points.

Personally I think it would have been better to restrict to one topic a day, and then to one a week to those who don't get any interaction. Too many topics have been pushed out of sight by some dross.

You may recall a member who said he was not allowed to post deals or topics, but was allowed to comment on topics, who flooded many topics with pointless GIFS (seems to have stopped in the name he used then). It does appear LD are doing their best to stop the trolls. It's a thankless task๐Ÿ˜€

I am over 90% certain who that member was, and the other name he was using, and is still using.

Ann1984 I had seen those three and my reply to Sunny101 above refers to them. From what I have read interaction doesn't guarantee 40 points, LD are keeping the exact details of how points are awarded secret. In my opinion it would be better if no points were awarded for posting a topic - it should be obvious as to who only post for points and wrongly think only those who agree with them should reply.

TheChimp I do understand: And hope that when you have me muted you don't reply to the comments I make, but you haven't seen, with disgusting expletives, tagging me so I'll see them. (as you've done in the past)

The outburst I reply to perhaps won't be seen by YOU, but it will be seen by others who perhaps wonder why you reacted in such way to my comments on this thread.

I think some people will assume I got too near to the truth (as did sunny101) without naming any names.

Incidentally editing your posts to remove objectionable expletives probably won't work in the future - people have been advised elsewhere to screen shot objectionable comments before they're edited and reported).

I'm obviously being naive or very slow on the uptake .... I admit I get a bit 'chatty' when a topic interests me .... but I never actually think about the points when I post my own rare questions .... I guess I'll leave the maths to you other guys and muddle along in my own sweet way ... letting you do the analysis and me doing the easyoption and reading what you post. ๐Ÿ˜† .... seriously ..... thanks ...I sort of wish I was more switched on about systems etc but at the same time I don't get my knickers in a twist ...well not here at any rate. .... Not referring to you Ann1984 and davidstockport ..... there was a whole raft of posts a short while ago about folk just coming on for the points....and only doing the bare minimum for each allowable set of points. I admit to being eager to earn my points ....but I do try to be fair and follow the guidelines. I was tempted to respond that I haven't time to spend hours and hours on the site altho I enjoy it.....but I chickened out.

So as I read it then, someone has a few accounts on here? Must have far more time than I do lol!

BORDERJOE I didnโ€™t wonโ€™t to rant about it that for Golfforall to do ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ. My reason for topic was that now seems to be more then 2 allowed. Itโ€™s pushing far better chats far down the line until someone bumps it up. We should be able to save a topic like we can deals or see members topics like we can deals. Be interesting if seeing others likes too maybe a future update.

BORDERJOE -Multiple accounts must be a nightmare for LD. It was only about a week ago I saw someone from a few years ago (I strongly suspected he had been banned then - he should in my opinion have been prosecuted๐Ÿ˜€). He mentioned he had several accounts. Some might have noticed he posted over 50 comments on his first day back some with hints to old friends as to who he'd been.

All I can say is a few days after being reported he has at least one account less.๐Ÿ˜€

Ann1984 It wasn't a rant it was a fair comment, I had thought the same as you then I checked.

Incidentally one alluded to doesn't want people to comment unless they agree with him.๐Ÿ˜€ That makes ignoring his dross easier... knowing he won't be rewarded if you do.๐Ÿ˜€

Ann1984 I think it was Golfforall that tempted me to respond ....and then I didn't ๐Ÿ˜† .... I know what you mean about the chats being pushed down ...even tho I scroll down a fair way, I reckon I still miss some I'd enjoy. It's the same with those flippin Amazon deals ...and I do agree with Golf about those!!! .... sun shining ...again...so off for my walk .... ๐Ÿฅฐ PS you weren't ranting I didn't think.

davidstockport I'm still in awe of folk who notice these things and can remember .... I'd even managed to forget his name! ....and I'm on here daily ...tho I admit not fas much as I'd like....tends to be at each end of the day before I'm called away. (How on earth do these multi account holders find the time??? ... and manage multiple accounts without messing up.)

BORDERJOE They do mess up occasionally, it can be quite laughable sometimes they'll perhaps forget which account they're using and answer or comment as if they were the other one.

I used to have a very good memory and trained others in memory techniques, but although my memory's still quite good I too occasionally forget "who said what and where" - as do many of those trying to fool LD.๐Ÿ˜€

The one I referred to earlier made it far too obvious who he'd been, it was almost as if he was goading LD, I'm reasonably certainly many others who have been around here a few years knew who he was, he even posted a picture of his old ghastly icon as a reminder.๐Ÿ˜€

BORDERJOE It can be quite fun playing "spot the multiple account" game, it's quite challenging though because many stop as soon as they get their first payout on one name, and start all over again.

There is a thing many do that is a strong indicator that they've been here before, but if you think I'm going to mention it here you can think again. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Hopefully in years to come identification will be required to post on any internet site, I believe that has already started; last week I was required to send identification with proof of age to Google to proceed to a site. (that's a one off process) I sent a copy of my driving licence - it was very clean๐Ÿ˜€

Ann1984 Had you remembered who it was until he posted that icon? I'd guessed but had no real proof until then, not sure if you recall why he was probably banned, but there was a female on here who mentioned she had mental health problems, he in my opinion was grooming her. She couldn't see what was happening. I hope that lowlife sees this and hope that all people who get too friendly are to be treated with extreme caution.

I hope LD don't mind me saying "THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE".

Ann1984 I can't recall the name of the female, but thought that she left soon after him, I hope she's OK. If she is still around and sees this I hope she'll let us know, I was very concerned for her safety - she appeared besotted.

I discovered some very disturbing things about GG - which I can't mention here.

sunny101 I sometimes wonder how one who had one of her topics totally vandalised by his inane gifs didn't suspect who it was and now appears very friendly.

It's strange how "MR G" is used so much - this was a Mr GDredd who changed his name to davidstockport1 to harass me and my friends, but showing how utterly stupid he actually is. He changed his name from MrGDredd but forgot that the "M" icon assigned to his original name wouldn't change (unless he changed it)- giving me absolutely no qualms about actually naming him.

You might find it amusing if you missed it. https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/chat/please-dont-misled-warning

If nothing else it shows how much I have been targetted by the Trolls over the years but if any see this let me warn them "It is foolish, not brave, to enter a battle of wits totally unarmed".๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

davidstockport well I'm still bemused by their actions ! ๐Ÿ™ƒ ๐Ÿฅด .... They need to get a life! One thing tho ... I sort of 'get' what you're saying about I.D.proof, but tbh I'd be really reticent about sending off proof of I.D. cos I'm a wee bit neurotic about fraud! ... doesn't stop me comping etc but I think the I.D. thing would worry me for that reason.
