Social Distancing for Young Kids
Other
Do you think it is fair that children at school should be social distancing at such a young age. It is a scary time as it is and now for many their safe place has changed.
Its called "learning" what schools are for really .
I doubt they will be fined for breaking the rule , but it will help explain to them what Mum and Dad and siblings are doing .
Could be vey useful once they understand it , on a supermarket or beach trip for example .
Thanks and I agree that school is a place to learn, but there are children that need to have the contact with others and sadly school maybe the only place that they get it. I guess it depends on the situation.
RuthWardell404 Sadly the kids are going to be growing up in a very different world , at least for the next year or two . They need to be gently educated to that end .
We all know parents who let their kids run riot in Pubs , Supermarkets etc so those kids are going to get little education in social behaviour from their parents .
There are a lot of clever dedicated teachers in our schools who often have to be both parent and educator to the kids . I would be confident that they know the best way to instil this "new normal" behaviour into the kids in the gentlest and most interesting way .
Yes it’s for their safety. I’m sure the teachers are teaching them to social distance in an appropriate (not so scary) way.
Is this a serious question?
Kids have to adapt to life and their surroundings at the time, it's part of growing up.
