Spider-Webs
Ask a Question
I am not a fan of spiders, but do think that some spider webs (outside) can be beautiful
But seeing this photo, freaked me out
Not only have they had to deal with floods, they now know that there are lots of spiders lurking around as spider-webs cloak Australian landscape after floods.
This has made my skin itch, are there any images that make you have a similar reaction?
Not big spider web fan myself especially because my youngest hates them and wont go anywhere near one outside
My son was the same, when he was younger we bought him a hobby shed, painted it camouflage, including a camouflage net on the roof.I would have loved it as a kid, he spent about an hour in it, saw a spider and never went in it again.A very expensive shed
I am not scared of spiders I am always the one who picks them up and puts them back out side, at the moment I have a really big one in my shed, I love how the spiders make the webs they are so clever and look amazing
I agree they are pretty (without spiders) and I was amazed to read that these webs were a result as of a survival tactic, where spiders shoot a web so they can escape the water https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-57492960
beccatavender wow that’s a great survival tactic I did not know that they did that
I have got better with spiders, used to stand on the sofa if I ever saw one run across the floor. I like to see them outside where they belong. I have watched a spider make it’s web and it’s absolutely amazing.
Had a phobia once but cured with self hypnosis.Apart from the odd bite which can be nasty I love spiders now. They have such cute faces! This little zebra spider dances and leaps!
beccatavender Some amazing photography here. This little fella has a matching hat and handbag..water droplets!
I don't mind spiders and like seeing their webs. Although, I don't particularly appreciate it when I'm out for a stroll and unknowingly walk through a long web strand and break it with my face
I hate spiders but try to ignore them in the house and not kill them as they are good for reducing insect levels in the house.
I don't mind spiders, but those pictures aren't very nice! I don't mind seeing a small web here and there but that's too much.
beccatavender Caffeine is the worst lol.Guess the ethics commitee is a bit remiss on that one lol.
