So yesterday I discovered that it was easy to get annoyed at an inanimate object.
Our son managed to climb the stairs so the stairgate had to go up. It took my husband and I ages to figure out the picture instructions as they were not very clear. Then it took me an hour to get it put up. Got my husband to come check it was secure, he said it needed tightened on one side, so he tightened it and the whole thing came off the wall! I was furious as it had taken so much effort to put it up! Turns out it was too small for our staircase! We assumed a standard size would fit as our stairs aren't that wide.
I had to buy extenders today and the stairgate is now up. I was rather proud of myself when it was done. It was to put up when I actually had the right size!
When I fitted one I also found the instructions so confusing, I managed it in the end but despite having the right size I still found it to be a bit of an ordeal. Well done for persevering!
