Staycation This Year?
Ask a Question
I guess it's safer to have a staycation this year or will you be planning overseas trip?
Definitely a staycation for a long time yet, we have a caravan in Yorkshire booked for October that’s enough for us
I would love to get away, but will wait until October, November time and see how things are. In the meantime, we have booked a couple of weekends away.
gerrykelly25 I think a few weekends away will be a good thing as opposed to a couple of solid weeks away. Il be like easing out of lockdown and having a few mini breaks! Good plan
Definitely not going abroad this year. I wouldn't mind having a UK break sometime later this year, but it all depends how things are. I'm not making any plans for a holiday, and may not do anything this year if I don't feel it's safe.
It's our wedding anniversary in May so, hoping to have a night of two away, but not too far away from home.
Going to Scotland defered from last year but not until September. Looking forward to riding the Jacobite steam railway.
SAdeals I had heard that but didn't want to get too excited as expectations are often less exciting in reality.
I have always wanted to ride a steam train so nothing like starting with the best.
This is a coach holiday with a friend and I can't believe how good the price is, 4 star hotel, travel, food and daily excursions. Will add the link shortly.
I will definitely be having a staycation this year, so much so I will be camping in my back garden.
eyeballkerry that's definitely what you can call a staycation! If the weather heats up a bit it should be great!
We have a week booked in the Lake District in May so hoping for good weather. As long as I can have some long walks and a coffee at the end (with toilet) I’ll be happy.
Grannyclock I have to add a trip to the Lake District on my to do list this year. Somewhere scenic and relaxing
