Hi everyone
I will appreciate if you have suggestion some good and free sites for homeschooling kids, specifically, for arts and crafts, PE and science projects.
Have you looked at bbc bite size? My kids used that during lockdowns to prepare for their gcse work. Think it has from primary to secondary.
I used to use this BBC bitesize all the time, once my children went on one to one tuition I completely forgot about it, thanks for reminding me
WindowShopper not a problem at all! My son will be using today as he starts A levels in September and the college has set work to do over the summer! We are going to look today and see what he has to do!
My children are home-schooling it's noting to do with lockdowns and I plan their holidays accordingly they will have 2 weeks off in the end of August.
GCSE bitesize best website I can think of as they cover pretty much all the subjects available in schools.
Khan Academy are pretty good for Science and Maths. It’s aimed more at kids in the US (so some subjects covered are completely different) but it still works for the UK too, and is completely free.
Yes I used to learn with them in my college time but recently, I find this site too hard to use, adds and asking for money for courses etc.
You may want to try https://www.twinkl.co.uk they have some YouTube videos or Homeschool with IXL https://uk.ixl.com/learn-at-home
Not sure how good these are
I got a message from school saying you can get free work books from morrisons tomorrow dont know if that's just local or not
