Have You Noticed More Summer Bugs Around This Year?

Is it me or is there a lot more new looking bugs lurking around this year. Something has bit just used my eye.
Anyone recommend a spray that helps keep them away from biting
Yes be extra careful if ever walking on woodland and grassy areas .. best to keep legs and ankles covered
Watch out for ticks, make sure you check your dogs and cats as well as your self

We are getting a lot of flies coming in at the moment because doors and windows are open. They then fly on the window where I swat them but yesterday two flies I swatted had spotted wings, not sure what they were but never seen before.
eyeballkerry other night I seen the biggest moth ever flying around street lamp I swear it was on steroids.
eyeballkerry I put a magnetic door screen up and it stops the flys coming in and the dog can come in and out as it closes it’s self as I have my door open all day well worth buying one
tara73ziva I have tassel curtains at the back door so that’s ok, it’s mainly through the windows and sometimes front door, but thanks for the idea
Funnily enough, we seem to have a lot less flies and bugs so far this year. Only seen one wasp too.
However, my parents have been saying that they have had loads in the house.
