What do you think of this?

Supermarkets near me seem to be quieter today, stock levels apart from the obvious items and for some reason fresh chicken are not to bad either. I think restrictions on the goods is a good idea , my local Tesco has had a 3 per customer restriction on the most sought after items all week.

I went in a couple of stores earlier. They were also quieter, but the shelves still had lots of empty spaces. Unfortunately, they were both out of bread and there wasn't a lot of fresh vegetables. Which were the items I was looking for 😷

I still saw some crazy people with trolleys, but the rest of the people who buy things are the ones who did not stock up. And no one took a lot of the items. Store staff just not able to restock because of the crazy people who stock up....

I visited my local Aldi last night between 9.15 and 10.00pm. To try social distancing, it's usually quiet then, I was amazed at how little was left, couldn't get milk. I've had to return this afternoon - it wasn't much better. They had a limit of four on all items, I deliberately restricted to three, to try to set an example, on items I'd normally have bought four of. I'd even let anyone have one of the three bottles of milk I got, if they needed it more than me. (but they can't have it all☺).

Well this gives me hope that we may be able to purchase some essentials on our normally weekly shop tomorrow 🤞🏻 I’m sending my bf early in the morning when I leave for work! 😁

My son actually needs a few essentials but couldn’t get any. Nappies and cat litter, had to travel miles to eventually buy some.

They have every right to implement restrictions on items they sell, other people have to buy their shopping too.
