What’s everyone’s favourite sweets as a child? Mine got to be jelly tots or tooty fruits
As a kid Aniseed balls & Liquorice sherbet dip!! There still my favs today. I hardly ever come across aniseed balls anymore tho.
I used to love buying a quarter of cola cubes as a schoolboy.
Nowadays I love foam bananas and fudge.
My vice although I've cut down a lot since lockdown. It's anything squishy, jelly stuff. I particularly like strawberry laces, fizzy bottles and those green turtles.
Milk teeth when I was young and in my teens a cabana Unfortunately they haven’t made these for years.
I loved the pink frothy prawn shaped penny sweets. I found the banana shaped ones for sale on Amazon so had to buy some.
I loved pineapple cubes, you used to buy 2 ounces. I also liked Caramac. Not sure if it was because I could buy both for 10 pence !
As a kid I loved Cola Cubes, and would often buy a quarter of them at lunchtime from school.
Nowadays - as a fifty something kid - I love foam strawberries, foam bananas and refreshers.
Sherbet pips, mintoes, Yorkshire mixture ,aniseed balls, peardrops, cola cubes,voice tablets, chocolate drops, the list just goes on
When I was about 12 used to have a tube of these given me every day, handed them round on bus so only got one,my I would not do that now
I used to really like those drumstick lollies. And I liked these sweets which were called Frosties, they were cola flavour.
My all time favourite sweet as a kid was chocolate white mice. The small white chocolate mouse shaped sweety was definitelymy go to. I used to visit the ice cream van and spend all my pocket money on them
I usually opted for Lemon or Strawberry Bon bons, Cola Cubes, Chewy Nuts or a bar of chocolate.
