Ask a Question
Hi, im looking to get myself a new tablet - it needs to have reseanable memory as i will use it to take pictures as i sell on line, can anyone recommend one that is a good price. my current one is a samsung and has 64gb so need somethings with a bit more - thank you
Ipad, it’s all I’ve had since they first came out and can’t fault them at all. They come with different GB storage, so can choose a decent size.
Nickynoo40 I don’t know, I’ve only had iPads. I found this on the Apple website which will help, hopefully the link works!
My husband had a Samsung tablet, when I got my first iPad. we found his was slower to respond and Was hit and miss on his touch. This was a few years ago, but it put us both off ever trying a Samsung tablet again.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, 5 or higher.
For me, an Android tablet is the best. I'd not mind iPad if they allowed to sideload apps and insert an SD card for extra storage.
I use a iPad with extra iCloud storage I use mine for taking photos and selling on line as well and it has the benefit of being linked to my iPhone as well
Xiaomi Pad 5 for Android.
I've had iPads before but apple drop iOS support after a while forcing people to keep buying the latest model
Nickynoo40 that's for pad 5 pro, the pad 5's are around £350 but black Friday they'll likely go down to sub £300, they did this when they launched them couple months ago.
I think you have to spend a reasonable amount of money to get a decent camera on an android tablet. You can buy cheap compact cameras from CEX for about £10 including delivery that will have decent optics, macro feature and give superior results which will help you get a higher amount for the items you sell. They typically take SD cards but you can use a micro sd card in a SD card adapter in them and then these can be directly read from the micro sd slot on a tablet. You can quickly change aperture, exposure etc to get the image you want or just leave it on automatic.
Smartphones often have better cameras than android tablets too but of course this all depends on model.
A high quality 12 megapixel camera here with a macro feature down to 5 cms, digital image stabilisation and some great features for images for £3 plus postage (£1.95). Video performance is more basic.
I've got a android tablet with 4GB memory, 64GB storage and a basic rockchip 3326 processor and I have to say the built in cameras are terrible. I think the rear one is 5 megapixel and the front one 2 megapixel. Neither have very good macro focusing and there is no flash facility. I couldn't use it for ebay etc as the images would be terrible.
