I'm Having Trouble Getting A Refund From TalkTalk
Ask a Question
Last year I decided to get Talk Talk Broadband and I've tried to get them to refund me back my £25 with no luck, after contracting meningococcal meningitis in 2004 I'm now disabled and have epilepsy and in constant pain.
I've tried to contact them albeit through Twitter and I was just given a form to fill in which is another thing I can't do ,it's driving me mad I'd love to know what I do next please? Thanks
MicheleBall .... I can only go by my current problem of above a week with PlusNet/EE ... I was dead chuffed when they replied regularly and promptly via TWITTER .... BUT .... today I travelled in and spoke to the EE shop and got another story .... so I decided to ring and I spoke to a guy who finally seemed to get to the truth of the matter. I guess what I'm trying to say is that each 'help' arm of the same company gives different/wildly inaccurate responses so try another format if you can.
Thanks for your reply grateful for that so how do I approach this without losing my rag?
Any suggestions would be helpful please.
I would try filing a complaint via the Resolver website (https://www.resolver.co.uk/) , as that basically takes you through the procedure and escalates the complaint to the next level if your not getting anywhere .
Other than that try a old fashioned letter addressed to the CEO at Head office . Problem I find with social media and e mail is they are often responded to from third party contact centres and not the actual companies themselves.
Thanks for your help everyone really grateful to you all , I'll have a look at what you sent me too Tom
I remember leaving Talktalk broadband and they made it as difficult as possible so its a company I refuse to use anymore. They are completely off my radar now.
