Tesco Shoppers Urged to Check Their Clubcard Points
Money Saving
£17 million worth of unused Tesco Clubcard vouchers are due to expire at the end of February.
This is hardly news however, Tescos have had unclaimed vouchers since it began. Vouchers for Tesco expire throughout the year not just this February, it's how it works.
You can extend their life span simply by exchanging for something with a low purchase value e.g, Cineworld 50p. The leftover balance from your voucher is added back to your account and you will receive new vouchers, Will cost you 50p but better than losing out if your not ready to spend them yet.
I did it with a £10 voucher £9.50 re-credited and a reward of £1.50 to use in Cineworld valued for 6 months.
Just downloaded the app and saw i had £24 waiting for me! Lovely little treat thank you i usually have them sent to me in the post.
I found it confusing when I used to get them by email then changed to get them by post and sometimes they don't turn up at all. We all need to keep on top of it
Thanks, I will make sure I check the dates on mine. I do tend to always use mine for meal vouchers as they usually have quite a good expiry date on them and I feel I am getting a good deal.
I just wanted to make sure that nobody's vouchers were left unused - we all pay for the vouchers indirectly, it's added onto the price of the goods in the shop. Enjoy your next 'voucher' meal.
Thank you for the reminder tumblespots I checked and I have £9.50 in points. I've been shopping more regularly at Sainsbury's etc so had forgotten to check
Sanitation1234 Hi, I've been collecting nectar points too. There's 25% off clothing at Sainsbury's atm
tumblespots This topic was very good news for me - I've had a full-on 12 months and I knew I had let things slip a bit. I discovered that I have £11 unspent vouchers that I wasn't aware of. Many thanks.
