Tesco Super Substitutes Competition

Customers ordering on Tesco.com* can win themselves tech devices, including phones and wearables, by buying regular grocery items.

Customers who place orders online for any of 10 items from Wednesday (April 7) until April 18 will be in with a chance of winning these 'super substitutes', which include devices from Apple, Samsung and Nokia.

These super swaps include an Apple iPhone SE subbed for a bag of apples, a Samsung Galaxy S21 for a Galaxy chocolate bar or a Nokia 3.4 for gnocchi.

Customers only have a chance of winning if they opt for Click & Collect – meaning they have to visit a store to pick up their purchases made online.

Tesco's terms and conditions shows there are six stores taking part – in Twickenham, Manchester, Birmingham Portsmouth, Glasgow and Swansea – meaning any potential winners will have to collect from one of these stores.

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or

promotional materials. By placing an order for Click+Collect from a

Participating Store (as defined below) during the Promotion Period (as defined below) all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. Please retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your information.

1. Promoter:

1.1 Tesco Mobile Limited (company number 04780736) whose registered

office address is at Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom, AL7 1GA.

1. Promotion Period:

2.1 The Tesco Mobile Grocery Super Substitutions opens at 10:00 on the 7 April 2021 and closes at 16:00 on 18 April 2021 (the "Promotion Period").

1. Participating Stores:

3.1 In order to benefit from a Super Substitution you must collect a

Click+Collect Order from one of the below stores during the Promotion Period:

• Glasgow Silverburn Extra, 751 Barrhead Road, Glasgow G53 6AG;
• Twickenham Extra, Mogden Lane, Isleworth TW7 7JY;
• Stretford Extra, Chester Road, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M32 0QW;
• Swansea Cadle Extra, Pontardulais Road, Cadle, Fforest-fach, Swansea SA5 4BA;

• Portsmouth Extra, Clement Attlee Way, Cosham, Portsmouth PO6 4SR; and
• Dudley Extra, Town Gate Retail Park, Birmingham Road, Dudley DY1 4RP.

1. Eligibility:

4.1 The Super Substitutions are available to residents in England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 or over except for any employees or directors of the Promoter or Tesco Stores Limited, their immediate families (spouse,

parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or step family) or anyone else professionally connected with the Tesco Mobile Super Substitutions

campaign.

4.2 In order to be in with a chance of receiving a Super Substitution, each

participant will need to place a Click+Collect order to be collected from a Participating Store during the Promotion Period.

4.3 Internet access and a Tesco account are required to place a Click+Collect order. A Tesco account can be opened at

secure.tesco.com/account/en-GB/register*. Participants are reminded to get the owner's permission before using a computer, device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the participant. The

Promoter will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred by the participant.

4.4 A maximum of 1 Super Substitution per selected Click+Collect order.

1. How the Super Substitutions will be selected:

5.1 All Click+Collect orders which are to be collected during the Promotion

Period from a Participating Store will be placed into a random draw and will be chosen by the Promoter. The participant who receives a Super Substitution will be the first Click+Collect order randomly selected that meets the criteria set out above.

1. The Super Substitutions:

6.1 80 participants may receive one of the following Super Substitutions:

• a Tesco branded multipack of apples (any variant) could be

substituted for an Apple iPhone SE 64GB – 5 available;

• a pack of Tesco branded laundry tablets could be substituted for a

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 – 8 available;

• a pack of Tesco branded freshly baked bread rolls could be substituted for a Motorola E7 – 4 available;
• a pack of Pampers Active Fit Nappies (any variant) could be

substituted for a Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 in black – 8 available;

• a Galaxy milk chocolate bar (any size or variant) could be substituted

for a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 128GB – 18 available;

• a pack of gnocchi could be substituted for a Nokia 3.4 – 4 available;
• a pack of Tesco branded frozen cod (any variant) could be

substituted for Apple Airpods with Charging Case – 8 available;

• a Galaxy chocolate drink (any size or variant) could be substituted for

a Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 – 8 available;

• a pack of Mini Cheddars (any variant) could be substituted for an

Apple iPhone 12 Mini 64GB – 5 available;

• Cotton Buds (any variant) could be substituted for Samsung Galaxy Buds Live – 12 available.

6.2 There is no cash alternative to the Super Substitution. The Super Substitution cannot be transferred to anyone else and is non-negotiable.

6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative Super Substitution of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
