Tesco Xmas Slots Released 13th November

Other

Just a heads uo if your a delivery saver

You can book you tesco slot for xmas a week before anyone else TheChimp.

This year, we’ll be opening slots 2 weeks earlier than last year, at 7am on 13 November. That means you’ll get a whole week of exclusive access before non-Delivery Saver customers can book.

We’re working hard to make sure we have enough slots to serve our most vulnerable customers over Christmas. To help us do this, you’ll only be able to book one slot in the week starting 21 December.* And you’ll continue to have a maximum limit of 95 items per order. You can still book more than one slot each week in the run-up to Christmas week.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't seen they were releasing them earlier. I want to get in early to book as I need to book a slot for my mum in law too.

Thanks Ann1984

I've already got a turkey in for Xmas, but I will be looking to book a slot to order some posh trimmings to spoil ourselves since this year has absolutely sucked.

Imnotcheap I like their turkey thigh joints ....£3.65 or so and great in the slow cooker ...not for Xmas necessarily, but for any meal and soups and made a smashing risotto from stock and bits too-really economical.

BORDERJOE I'm not too fussed on turkey thigh, but I'm definitely a big fan of chicken thighs.

TheChimp me too regarding chicken thighs ... far far better than breast... I just find the turkey thigh joint really tasty - I know I could easily season it etc myself, but it's my lazy option. lol

Imnotcheap Unfortunately, my local butcher sucks.

Their meat is pretty poor and they sell bacon from a supplier who only has a 1 star hygiene rating.

People say to support their local businesses, but when they're really bad, why should we?
