Things You Used to Be Believe as a Child
Other
So what were some of the daft things you believed as a child?
Here's two of mine:
- Because most TV shows and photographs before around 1970 were in black and white, I used to believe that the whole world was actually in black and white in real life.
- Whenever it rained, I used to think that this was a result of God pouring a gigantic watering can over us.
I believed in the tooth fairy and santa claus haha. Well you never know they might exist ? Still, it's something that made me happy and gave me something to look forward to as a child.
I used to believe I was meant to be able to stare at the sun. So I did, and resisted the pain. So it's no wonder I need glasses!
That the world was a nice place. Sorry, that's a horribly depressing answer but it's the first I came up with!
I saw the panorama spoof spaghetti harvest programme as a child and believed for years. It's one of those family stories that always resurfaces at Christmas.
the world is actually a fantastic and amazing place and the majority of people are really lovely - there is just a few who leave a bad trace behind but you have to see all the beauty around you
I thought airplanes floated in the air but I wasn't sure how exactly it worked... I also thought you can catch coodies from kissing the opposite gender lol.
That we're all the same on the inside which isn't true. Loads of people still believe it as a fact, though.
