What Do You Think of B&M?
Ask a Question
I was in there fairly early this morning when it was quiet and it really is a bargain-hunters dream. Lots of toys on 2 for £20 and great deals on food and home as usual, £15 Yankee candles etc. I could have literally done all my Christmas shopping in one go!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who loves it?!
I love bm and in there every day as on my way home i downloaded the barcode scanner whice you can find some good bargains big items for a pound or even less Wednesday is normally the best day from home ware to electronic but you have to check every barcode
ClaireF1978 download bm app and in bottom left there is option more and then barcode checker
Ann1984 thank you. This is brilliant and I think will be a game-changer for the rest of my Christmas shopping!
Sorry but I had a nightmare in one today. As I didn’t buy anything I needed to get out but it is close on impossible as you can only get out through the open till aisles and they are so thin you can’t get pass people, slight panic attack.
I've been in that situation before, it does get ridiculous during busy times, but quite pleasant at 9:30am on a Wednesday!
I hardly ever used to go in them but they've opened up one within walking distance and now we're never out of it
I regularly take a look when I’m in the bigger store. They usually Have good seasonal displays. I think for bargains you’d get more in homeBargains
I really like bnm too. I love all the bargain stores do you have a Herons foods near you? That is also owned by bnm
Never heard of heron foods but I've looked it up and sadly don't have one near us. Food Warehouse is another good one though, part of Iceland.
I think I prefer home bargains but B&M is also very good. Had some decent bargains in both.
I usually visit one if I’m nearby, but I prefer Home Bargains. I have found some great bargains in the past but it can be hit and miss, depending on the branch
I like Home Bargains too but they don't have anywhere near as much variety of products as B&M, I guess it does depend on your branch.
I like it for the occasional stuff, but would rather look for the toys in Home Bargains which are always on a great offer. I think lots of the toys in HB come from argos.
My local one isn't great, its like a pound shop, tatty and outdated. I know other stores are better, ours doesnt have a freezer section. The only items i think are good quality and value are the kids games and furniture
Our's is a bit grotty too but some good toys that are for sale for more on Amazon and argos so worth it.
ClaireF1978 yea, the toiletries and general stuff in there looks like its from a pound shop but there are a few good things, prefer home bargains
Great for a select few things for sure. Though the massive bargains that get advertised are never available.
I have a love/hate relationship with them. I think they’re great and can run a mock in them! But the problem is it’s always things I don’t actually need? The home stuff is lovely for the price but I really don’t need any of it so try and stay clear
I have not been to a B&M store yet! Anyone recommend a big one in London? I have heard lots great deals going on in there.
Must go. Yes the shame that ive never been. It sounds really good though so on my next shopping trip i will remember this post and definatley pop in x
I think they vary the near me has a lot of tat and only the occasional 'bargain!'. Great for snacks but not than anywhere else
I love B&M the only thing i find is often tje stores are got and sweaty smelling other than that they have some good bargains
