I don't have signal in a basement flat far from the town. My friend who is with 3 as well came to visit me and she doesn't have any issues. How is that possible if the company is the same?

GSM I am concerned - 3 days ago you said you were going into quarantine, so why was your friend visiting? https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-how-to-self-isolate-when-you-travel-to-the-uk/coronavirus-covid-19-how-to-self-isolate-when-you-travel-to-the-uk

How to self-isolate in your accommodation

You should self-isolate in one place for the full 14 days, where you can have food and other necessities delivered, and stay away from others. You must self-isolate at the address you provided on the public health passenger locator form.

This can include:

  • your own home
  • staying with friends or family
  • a hotel or other temporary accommodation

You should not have visitors, including friends and family, unless they are providing:

  • emergency assistance
  • care or assistance, including personal care
  • medical assistance
  • veterinary services
  • certain critical public services

You cannot go out to work or school or visit public areas. You should not go shopping. If you require help buying groceries, other shopping or picking up medication, you should ask friends or relatives or order a delivery.

In England, you must only exercise within your home or garden. You cannot leave your home to walk your dog. You will need to ask friends or relatives to help you with this.

Maybe your friend has a better phone but if dropped stuff at doorstep then she would still be outside. So signal wouldn’t be a problem your most prob not getting signal because of you being in a basement it won’t be much longer as you have maybe only 10 days left, lilyflower mentioned no guests but if you needed to use the telephone for emergency then I would go outside into street to use as long keep 2 metres apart
