I posted this because the subject is very close to my heart, our nina was a throwaway dog, she was found in a rubbish skip before we adopted her

It highlights the importance dogs can have in our lives

Unfortunately, it looks like there are going to be a lot more 'throwaway dogs' now that Covid restrictions have been lifted. There has been a large increase in the number of people, who got a pet during a lockdown, contacting charities about trying to give up their dogs. These people shouldn't be allowed to own pets again. They should have considered the long term viability of pet ownership before getting a dog.
